Sale Podiatry is owned by Jill Hudson.

Jill qualified in 1983 with an Advanced Diploma in Chiropody from Salford University (formerly Salford College of Technology) and was awarded a Bachelor of Science degree in Podiatric Medicine in 1994 after further study.

She worked for the NHS in Bolton for the first 5 years of her career and then took up a post with Trafford NHS where she held a Senior position responsible for the care of the Elderly and Mental Health patients in Trafford hospitals and the local community. She continues to work in the NHS part-time.

Jill set up her private practice in 1997 working as part of the team at Williams’ Osteopathic clinic where she provides treatment in the practice and surrounding community and has provided care for residents of local registered charity Stockdales of Sale since 2004.

With this experience and knowledge of a wide range of foot conditions Jill considers herself a Generalist Podiatrist and enjoys all aspects of Podiatry. Working alongside Osteopaths she has gained considerable experience in the treatment of Musculo-skeletal disorders and is able to offer Biomechanical examinations and a range of corrective insoles (orthotics) including custom-made, off the shelf, and custom-made foot bed sandals. She regularly attends the Biomechanics summer school to keep her knowledge of leading edge biomechanics up to date.

With a certificate in Local Anaesthesia she can carry out minor Nail Surgery for ingrowing toe-nails and she also has a certificate in Health Education.
